Some unidentified gunmen suspected to be bandits have once again attacked some towns in Kaduna State.
According to CRIME CHANNELS, the bandits attacked Zango community in Samaru, Zaria and kidnapped an unspecified number of residents.
It was learnt that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, August 27, 2021. The bandits were said to have stormed the area, while shooting indiscriminately before whisking their victims away.
Senator Shehu Sani who represented the Kaduna Central during the 8th National Assembly, confirmed the incident on his official Twitter handle.
His tweet reads, “Early this morning, Bandits stormed Zango area Samaru, Zaria and kidnapped scores of people.”

“Ahmadu Bello University main campus, College of Aviation and Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology located in the same area must take immediate preventive security steps to secure lives”.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer in Kaduna, ASP Mohammed Jalige, when contacted by Journalists said that he hasn’t been briefed on the situation, h however, said that he will call the DPO of the affected area.
