A 20-year-old student of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Ogbona Shedrach has killed himself.
It was learnt that the deceased was a 200-level student in the department of Biochemistry before his demise.
A source in the family told salemgists that Shedrach’s parents were divorced and he faced many challenges because of his parents’ marital status.
The source said the deceased had requested a sum of N50,000 from his father to enable him to settle his pressing needs.
He said his father had declined his request which got the deceased angry. He took his own life by hanging himself with a rope
