A Nigerian dad, Phillip Oyewale, has in a viral post, shared the story of his son, Emmanuel, who was in a coma for almost a year, but survived, contrary to medical reports  and is now in school.

Oyewale while celebrating the founder of Christ Life Church,  Bishop Wale Oke,  on his 64th birthday said that his son Emmanuel was born premature and was in a coma for almost a year as medical reports thought he would not make it.

Oyewale, who attached the pictures and the video of his son walking in a Facebook post, said that the day his life support was going to be switched off, the Bishop came from Nigeria and rescued him through prayers.

“The doctors gave a medical verdict that in the rare case that the boy lived, he would not be able to walk and will always need the assistance of oxygen and a wheelchair for the rest of his life,” he said.

However,  the father said the boy resumed primary school on Wednesday, September 8, 2020  as he walked, overcoming all medical assessments.
