Students of Kwara State University(KWASU), Malete have Stormed the School Gate to Protest in demand to halt increment in hostel exemption fee.
According to a source who pleaded anonymously, the exemption fee which used to be five thousand Naira rose to twenty thousand Naira.

However, this didn’t go down well with students of the institution as they swing into action.
The students claim that after paying a lot of fees which they don’t know what they are, that the school management still wants to increase the exemption fee(A fee you need to pay because you chose not to leave in a school hostel as a fresher or finalist) from N5,000 to N20,000
