Ebeano supermarket, a large supermarket centre in Lokogoma, Abuja, is currently on fire.
The fire has raged on for hours as it reportedly started earlier on Saturday evening.
The cause of the inferno has not been determined, however, firemen are already on the scene trying to put out the blaze.
The FCT Fire Service spokesman, Ibrahim Muhammad, confirmed the incident on Saturday night. He also confirmed that firemen had been deployed to the scene to control the flames.
He stated, “Ebeano supermarket is on fire and many FCT fire stations namely Nji, Games Village, Garki and Asokoro are there fighting the fire.”
