BREAKING: Fuel scarcity looms as PENGASSAN withdraws services

Members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) have announced the withdrawal of board-wide services of operations.

 

They said their withdrawal is as a result of the seemingly impasse between the minister of state for petroleum and the chairman governing council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).

In a letter dated 11th March, 2024, the union announced that it has resolved in a Congress to embark on a Board-wide withdrawal of services by all union members.

The union further revealed that the impasse has affected the salaries of its member, hence the need to shutdown its services beginning 12 noon on Tuesday 12th March, 2024.
