The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has asked Kano state governor Abba Yusuf to abandon his New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for APC.
Ganduje, in an ongoing meeting with stakeholders in Kano state, made the call, saying that the state can not afford to be in opposition party.
The APC National Chairman arrived Kano state on Wednesday night for a critical stakeholders meeting with Kano APC leaders.
Kano APC recently lost the Supreme Court judgement to the NNPP government in the state.

It was gathered that Ganduje is in the state to invite some NNPP and PDP leaders in the state to APC fold.
