Willie Obiano, former governor of Anambra state, faces another challenge after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) revived high-profile investigations.
According to the Commission, Obiano will be arraigned before the court on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

EFCC spokeswoman Dele Oyewale confirmed the latest development, saying, “Yes, Obiano will be arraigned tomorrow.”
The former governor was first arrested at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, on March 17, 2022, as he was preparing to board a flight to Houston, the United States of America, hours after leaving office.
