Peter Obi, candidate of the Labour Party in Nigeria’s February 2023 presidential election has formally filed a petition at the election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja.
This was announced by the party’s Chief Spokesman, Dr Yunusa Tanko, very late on Monday night via his verified Twitter handle.
He tweeted, “It is official. The Labor Party Presidential candidate Peter OBI has filed his petition to the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja. The process of reclaiming the people’s mandate has started.
