BREAKING: Three people killed in Philippine university shooting- Officials

Three people have been fatally shot on Sunday afternoon at Ateneo de Manila University, Manila, in the Philippines.
Authorities continue responding to the shooting incident near Gate 3 of Ateneo de Manila University, as of the afternoon of July 24.
It was gathered that the shooter has been detained.
Casualty numbers are unconfirmed, however, reports suggest that the shooting left up to three people dead and two more wounded.
Among those killed was the mayor of the town of Basilan. Police reportedly captured the shooter on Aurora Boulevard after he attempted to flee the scene in a stolen car. The motivation for the attack is unclear.
The campus remains on lockdown. Reports indicate that a graduation ceremony was scheduled at the premises.
Officials may close roads in the immediate vicinity. A heightened security presence and transport disruptions are likely over the coming hours until authorities conclude their operations and give the all-clear.
