Hoodlums have stormed Ile- Iwe Police Station at Command bus stop axis of Lagos state, over the death of a tricycle rider who was stabbed to death by a Police officer.
According to the reports gathered, the tricycle rider refused to give the Police officer N100 bribe, which led to the officer stabbing him. In a viral video of the incident, the cyclist was seen with multiple stab wounds with what looked like a heart organ bulging out of his chest.
Commuters and residents have been left stranded as hoodlums blocked the road.
It was also gathered that the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Police department are currently on ground and are shooting to disperse the hoodlums.
According to CRIME CHANNELS, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer CSP Ajisebutu confirming the development stated that the CP has Dispatched adequate Police Patrol teams to maintain law and order, saying normalcy has been restored.
