BREAKING: Woman, Two Teenage Daughters Abducted As Gunmen Break Into Abuja Apartment

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have once again broken into another house in Abuja, and whisked away a mother, Mrs. Oladapo Bukola and her two daughters.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at Pegi community in Kuje area council of Abuja.

It was learnt that the armed men arrived the home of the said woman at about 1:04am, and forcefully took Mrs. Bukola and her daughters identified as Moyo Oladapo and Glory Oladapo, away.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, a resident of the area identified as Abednego, said that the men were armed with AK-47 rifles.

The source said, “the men were armed with AK-47, they forced their way into the home of Mrs. Bukola and took her and her children away to an undisclosed location.”

On how they were able to gain entry into the victim’s compound, he said, “the kidnappers scaled the fence of the victims’ house and forced the doors open.”

The Chairman of Pegi Community Development Association, (PECDA), Mr Taiwo Aderibigbe, confirmed the abduction of the woman and her daughters to Journalists.

He lamented the spate of insecurity in the area. He pleaded with security agencies to come to their aid before they are all wiped out in their community.

“It is quite worrisome, that Pegi, Kuje, is being targeted by kidnappers and security agencies are not doing much,” he alleged.

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police Command, ASP Daniel Y. Ndiparya, when contacted by newsmen, confirmed the incident.

He however, said that efforts were ongoing to rescue the victims. He also said that the command was working with other security agents in the FCT, with a view to bring crime to its barest minimum.
