Cable drum falls on passerby in Lagos, victim dies

A yet-to-be-identified male adult has been confirmed dead after an electric cable drum fell on him at Ojo-Igbede Road in the Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Thursday while a forklifter was transloading armoured cables from a container into its body.

Hundeyin said, “The corpse has been deposited in the mortuary for autopsy and preservation. An investigation is ongoing.”
