Coachella 2022: Kanye West Replaced By The Weeknd, Swedish House Mafia

The upcoming grand musical event, Coachella Music and Arts Festival has finally announced that it’s has dropped rapper Kanye West as a headliner at next week’s event.

The ‘Donda’ rapper was quoted to have said he won’t be performing if Billie Eillish wasn’t dropped out of the coachella show starting on the fifteenth of April this year.

The rapper has been replaced by Canadian singer The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia.

The news comes ten days before the festival hits the floor.

Many artists have expressed their thoughts over the recent announcement and model and businesswoman Kendall Jenner has also reacted to the news.

The California-based music festival’s organisers announced earlier in the day that The Weeknd, 32, and house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia will be taking over the rapper’s slots on Sunday, April 17, and Sunday, April 24.

This year’s Coachella runs April 15th-17th & 22nd-24th.
