Colourful Convocation: Covenant University graduates share graduation photos

Nigeria’s leading private institution Covenant University held the 17th Annual Convocation Ceremony at the school Chapel on Friday.

A total of 1,934 students graduated from the 2021/2022 academic session this year in the program tagged ‘Release of Eagles for 2022’.

They comprised 206 first-class honours, representing 12.28 percent; 744 second-class upper honours, representing 44.36 percent; 620 second-class lower or 36.97 percent; 107, representing 6.38 percent in third class; and 257 post-graduate students.

The graduates took to social media to share colourful photographs of their celebrations.

Covenant University to begin construction of Medicine, Law faculties in 2023

Meanwhile, the University has announced plans to begin construction of Medical and Law faculties in the first quarter of 2023.

Dr David Oyedepo, the Chancellor of Nigeria’s leading private tertiary institution, Covenant University, has announced that the school will begin construction of newly approved Medicine and Law faculties in 2023.

Oyedepo said this during Covenant’s 17th Convocation ceremony which was held at the University Chapel on Friday.

Covenant University, one of Nigeria’s highly-ranked higher institutions, has notably lacked provisions for medicine and law studies since its inception in 2002.

However, the school owner and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide announced that the University will commence construction on the two faculties in the first quarter of 2023.
