Senator Shehu Sani says Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, should come to him for proper counselling on love.
This follows a statement credited to the governor where he said ‘Buhari loves me and I love him too.’
Reacting to the governor’s statement on Twitter, Sani said Umahi should come to Kaduna to meet him for love counselling.
His tweet on Tuesday reads: “ Bro Umahi, Come meet me in Kaduna for love counseling.”

Umahi, had defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that the South East region had suffered what he described as injustice in the PDP.
The governor’s defection came after weeks of speculation that he had taken the decision to dump the opposition party for the ruling party.
Umahi contested for the office of the governor in Ebonyi State in 2015, on the platform of the PDP and won. He also won the bid for a second term in office in the 2019 general elections, as the PDP candidate.
Meanwhile, Sani was a member of the APC until 2018 when he left the party. He was the senator representing Kaduna Central in the 8th Assembly.
He however resigned a few days after the national body of the APC submitted the name of Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s political adviser, Uba Sani, as the candidate for that senatorial district.
Bro Umahi,Come meet me in Kaduna for love counseling.
