Contribute to development, Achievers VC tells engineers

No fewer than 27 graduates of the Department of Engineering of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, have been inducted by the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Samuel Aje, stated that the inductees had been groomed, molded and perfectly prepared and released to the NSE and the world at large for them to practice and exercise their professional expertise.

The VC stated this during the induction ceremony held at the main auditorium of the university.

He also urged them to use their practical knowledge to contribute to the development of the country and effect positive changes in society.

Speaking during the induction ceremony, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology of the institution, Prof. Sesan Ayodeji, advised the inductees to continue to develop a broad understanding of their responsibilities in the engineering field and participate in the nation’s socio-economic activities.
