Minutes later, another woman, Mrs Tawakalitu Omo Alhaji said she made a transaction since January 20th.

“I’ve been coming here for the past two weeks on a transaction I made since January.”

“They promised me seven working days, but their promises have proved abortive. I’ve been going and coming as if I gave nothing to do with my life” Mrs Tawakalitu complained to our correspondent at one of the bank’s branches in Lagos.

Yet another customer, Mr Emmanuel Nduka said he made payments transfer to GTB since February 20 in order to purchase JAMB forms but the recipient till this moment is yet to get the funds and reversals were also yet to be made.

“This is not funny again. I sent the amount of ₦5,700 since February 20th to purchase JAMB form for my younger sister, but the money got hooked. I had used another bank to pay the same money.”

After sending the details of the transaction to our correspondent, Mr Nduka said he would be going to close his account to use Palmpay.
