“Don’t shut me up” Naira Marley declares Sanwo-Olu the right man for the job

Nigerian Singer Naira Marley has broken silence and opened up on election matters related to Lagos especially.

The singer, who tweeted recently about no longer wanting to remain silent and having some thoughts on the upcoming elections, had announced that he will share his views soon.

On Wednesday night, Naira Marley took to his Instagram page in a live video express himself and declare his support for Babajide Sanwo-olu in the 2023 Governorship election.

The singer stated his endorsement of the APC gubernatorial candidate for Lagos state, despite not being affiliated with any political party.

He further remarked that there has been significant development in infrastructure and other aspect, which is evident and accessible for all to witness.

Despite the common trend for backlash from fans after declaring a preferred candidate, Naira Marley expressed that he cannot be silenced in his choice.

He believes that Lagos is a highly developed mega city, and therefore, it cannot be entrusted to someone inexperienced in politics.

Eniola Badmus roots for Governor Sanwo-Olu’s re-election

Similarly, despite the numerous criticisms she has received for supporting the All Progressive Congress’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has proven she has a thick skin as she roots for the re-election of Lagos State incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Taking to her Instagram page, Badmus who has grown deaf ears to numerous slanders shared a picture of governor Sanwo-Olu posing with a times sign (X) signifying another four years in office. Captioning her post, she tagged Sanwo-Olu Mr sellable and asked that Lagosians vote for him again.

She wrote: “Mr sellable Le kan si 4+4 vote @jidesanwoolu for another term on the 18th March 2023”

Meanwhile, governor Sanwo-Olu has been visiting churches, markets, mechanic workshops, hairdressing saloons, playing football in public, and other places to canvas for votes after the Independent National Electronic Commission postponed the 2023 gubernatorial election from 11th of March to 18th of March 2023.
