The Senate leadership had met with the union twice since the #ENDSARS protests continued to gain ground across the nation.

On Tuesday, the Federal Government had said it might  consider the adoption of the University Transparency Account System (UTAS) presented by the union in replacement of government’s Integrated Payroll Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
