The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has said there have not been any regret endorsing Tinubu as the President of Nigeria.

This was made known in statement by NANS Vice President External Affairs, Comr. Akinteye Babatunde Afeez saying that Tinubu is yet to even start with Nigerians as RENEWED HOPE shall come alive in every Nigerian home in no distant time.

Comr. Afeez revealed that right from President Tinubu first hour in office, Nigerians have started to feel the change of power and the light of the RENEWED HOPE has shone round every sphere since he assumed office.

According to him, “After perusing through his manifesto with my team, we were able to convince the Nigerian Students hence an endorsement of Asiwaju’s candidature.

“Now, he has surprised us in our jurisdiction(education) with an accessible loan for us in higher schools. This means that the rate at which my fellow students drop out of school will reduce drastically and more students will be encouraged to apply into higher institutions without the fear of finance, since they now know that they have a place to look up to for financial aid.

“Also, the rate at which students commit suicide over depression when they drop.out of school and the rate at which some of our female students engage in some vices in order to meet up with payment of their fees will reduce or die naturally because there will be no more financial pressure that will warrant such acts.

“This new bill will correct so many anomalies and will put several Nigerian institutions at par with their counterparts abroad because from research, most of the brains the institutions need are not usually able to afford education. Now that is no more the case.”

It was gathered that all the presidential candidates in the last presidential election in Nigeria had their manifestos and they had the parts that talked about their plans for the education sector but none surpassed that of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the same vein, Comr. Afeez reiterated that subsidy was removed from fuel to help Nigerians safe enough for more infrastructure and a higher standard of living for all.

Also, he reiterated that Tinubu plans for education were meticulously spelt out and even a novice would be able to relate with it because it was straight to the point and the goals were not too complex to be achievable.
