The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, has said that the Federal Government will release guidelines for the reopening of schools in Nigeria.

While congratulating Nigerian children on the celebration of their day in Abuja on Wednesday, he said the celebration brought to mind the need to do things that will ensure a safe and secured future for the Nigerian child.

He explained that the government was working hard to make sure the children are safe. He said that Nigeria was faced with the problem of out of school children before COVID-19, adding that this had been compounded by the compelling need to shut schools in order to limit the spread of the virus.
