Friends and family members of Emeka Eloagu, a prominent Abuja chef, have been in sorrow since he was discovered dead at his apartment on Sunday, August 1.
While the exact reason of his death is unknown, several of his friends allege that he was stabbed to death by assailants who gained entry into his home.

According to one report, the dead was murdered by two people to whom he had authorized entry to his apartment. They are accused of stripping him naked, tying him up, and strangling him.
ASP Maria Yusuf, a spokesman for the FCT command, was contacted by LIB for comment on the event. She stated that the subject is being looked into.
Emeka, 35, is a well-known Abuja chef. He holds a Grande Diplomé in culinary and patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu Paris. He combines French cooking methods with Nigerian food, and his restaurant in the capital city is renowned to have hosted celebrities and officials.
