Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, narrowly escapes death in a car crash involving his convoy, on Wednesday.
The governor was returning to Ibadan from Saki, where he had attended a town hall meeting with members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to discuss his re-election bid.
The WIll Newspaper reported that a driver attached to his convoy, Ramon Mustapha, died after his vehicle tumbled several times.

It was gethered ththe other three injured party members involved in the accident, are currently receiving treatment at a nearby medical facility.
The remains of the late driver, who was described as humble, respectful and very dutiful, were buried at his Amuloko, Ibadan residence, on Wednesday, according to Islamic rites.
