Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC), Bola Tinubu is said to have thrown souvenirs to cheering crowds in Lagos on Tuesday.
FTN has earlier reported how Tinubu was seen throwing what appears to be wads of new notes at crowds of Lagosians as his motorcade moves from the airport to Surulere.
However, his supporters have since claimed that the items thrown to the crowd were T-shirts and other party souvenirs.
Tinubu was on his way to the Teslim Balogun stadium for the grand finale of his campaign in Lagos today.
The APC fans had positioned themselves at different spots within the metropolis that the party chieftain would take.
Spotted in a viral video in Oshodi, the flag bearer of the ruling party was throwing wads of notes suspected to be new naira notes as cheering crowds.
