Job Description:
Good Neighbours Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their team in Ikeja, Lagos. As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
– Managing financial and control functions
– Ensuring cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping
– Preparing financial statements and general ledger functions
– Analyzing financial performance and providing business finance solutions
– Ensuring compliance with microfinance industry regulations and financial reporting standards
Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of financial and control experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management position
– HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
– Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
– In-depth understanding of financial management, accounting, and microfinance industry regulations
– Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
