Professor Chukwuma Soludo has been reinstated as the authentic candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, for the 2021 Anambra State Governorship Election.
This was disclosed on Monday in a ruling by Justice Charles Okay of Awka High Court 2.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had on July 16th dropped the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr Valentine Ozigbo and that of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
The electoral umpire cited ‘obedience to orders of court’ as their reason for removing Soludo’s name from the list of contestants.
However, the Anambra High Court of Justice reinstated Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance political party, APGA, and Chief Victor Oye as the National Chairman of the party.
