Olateju Adunni, the Personal Assistant to Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was late yesterday attacked by some hoodlums.
An elder brother to the Senator Representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Dr Ajibola Basiru, simply known as Simple, whose real name could not be confirmed as at the time of filing this report, was also attacked by the thugs who shot and unleashed machete cuts on their victims.
The hoodlums, according to eye witnesses, came in an 18-seater bus led by two armed policemen.
Osun Defender gathered that the victims were attacked at a restaurant in Oroki Estate, Osogbo, around 10:30pm, where the lawmaker representing Osogbo Constituency at the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon Taofeek Badmus was marking his birthday.

The Personal Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon Timothy Owoeye, identified as Joseph Akanbi, was also attacked by the hoodlums.
The condition of Aregbesola’s PA could not be confirmed as at the time of filing this report.
