Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has expressed his frustration with the rising dollar rate in Nigeria.
He took to his Twitter account on Monday to lament the rise in the exchange rate of dollar with Naira which is above N500 as of Monday.
According to him, he almost cried when he changed dollars to naira.
Interestingly, Davido, who is known for his wealth and influence on social media, recently said he spent the last 12 years making money and he was tired of making money.
However, in his tweet today, the singer stated that he almost cried when he changed his dollars to naira at the rate of N500 to a dollar.
His Tweet: “Dollar don reach 500 … I changed naira to dollar today and I almost cried smh this country nawa.”
