I got inspiration for new song during tour— Kizz Daniel

Popular Nigerian musician, Daniel Anidugbe, aka Kizz Daniel, has revealed that he got the inspiration for his latest single titled, ‘Shu Peru’, during his recently concluded world tour.

In a brief interview with The Punch, the singer said, “My new single was borne out of my experiences during the first leg of my just concluded world tour. Performing in different cities, interacting and imbibing different cultures and watching different audiences react to my music ignited the inspiration that gave birth to the song.

“I will continue to push the boundaries in the industry, making headlines for my exceptional music and creativity.”

Daniel also noted that he was preparing to release a new album and embark on anothet tour. He also stated that he was looking forward to performing at the prestigious Essence Festival, which is regarded as the largest African-American culture and music event in the United States of America, in July.

The new song, Shu Peru, was produced by Rewardz Beats, while it was mixed and mastered by a US-based sound engineer, Jaycen Joshua. The video for the song was directed by TG Omori, who was also the brain behind the video for ‘Buga’, which currently has over 170 million views on the video sharing platform, YouTube.
