Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has cast his ballot in the ongoing Local Government election across the state.
The Governor voted at Polling Unit 1, Ward 11 in Ibadan North East Local Government Area, arriving at 10:17 am and casting his vote just five minutes later.
The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) is overseeing the election, which is taking place in all 33 local government areas.

However, reports are emerging of irregularities in the election process, with two opposition members reportedly arrested by the police.
