According to reports, the members Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) on Wednesday allegedly killed Shekau, the leader of the dreaded terrorist, Boko Haram during a gun battle in their Sambisa Forest hideout.
Unverified sources revealed that the members of ISWAP invaded Sambisa Forest with heavy guns hunting for the leader of the Boko Haram terrorist group, Shekau. It was revealed that Shekau wasn’t killed directly by ISWAP but blew himself up and committed suicide when ISWAP wanted to capture him alive.
Although there was no verified reports, confirmation or statement about Shekau’s death by Nigerian security forces, many people have taken their social media handles to celebrate the death of Shekau.

As it is now, no official report has been made about his death, so it’s not yet verified. If he is truly dead, the Nigerian security operatives will release a statement about it.
