JAMB Increases Cost of UTME Registration for 2024

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced an increase in the cost of registering for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the year 2024.

 

According to a statement released by the official JAMB handle on X (formerly Twitter), the new registration fees are as follows: N7,700 for UTME registration with mock examination and N6,200 for UTME registration without mock examination.

Additionally, the cost of application documents for foreign candidates has been set at $30.JAMB is expected to provide a breakdown of the costs when it releases the registration details on or before January 15, 2024.

In addition to the UTME registration, JAMB has also announced the registration period for the sale of Direct Entry (DE) application documents for the year 2024.

The sale of DE application documents will commence on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and will run until Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Furthermore, JAMB has stated that the creation of profile codes for registration is currently ongoing.

Detailed instructions on how to create profile codes will be provided at a later date, prior to the commencement of registration on January 15, 2024.
