JUST IN: Aig-Imoukhuede takes charge of Access Holdings as chairman

Access Holdings Plc (the Holdco) has announced that Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede is returning as its Non-Executive Chairman.

This decision was made after the untimely passing of the previous Group Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe.
The Holdco Board consulted with key stakeholders and unanimously decided to invite Aig-Imoukhuede to lead the company’s governance.
He will be replacing Abubakar Jimoh, the former Chairman of the HoldCo, who will continue to serve on the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
The bank in a tweet on X said, “Join us in welcoming Mr. Aigboje AIG-Imoukhuede as the Non- Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Access Holdings PIc.
“We look forward to a promising future and the continued success of our great institution under his leadership.”
