Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has returned with its much-anticipated Season 9, and it’s already causing a stir with a fresh and exciting twist. This season, aptly named ‘No Loose Guard,’ has introduced an innovative concept: The ‘Dynamic duo’ housemates.
As the new batch of contestants enters the house for 71 days of competition, the battle for fame officially begins, setting the stage for a new BBNaija winner.
Last year, the All-Stars edition crowned 20-year-old model Ilebaye Odiniya as the winner, awarding her a grand prize of N120 million. For Season 9, MultiChoice Nigeria, the organizers of the show, have announced a cash prize of N100 million for the ultimate winner, along with other rewards. Additionally, this season will include Showmax’s exclusive recap show, ‘The Buzz,’ hosted by Toke Makinwa.

BBNaija reality TV show kicks off today, July 28th by 7 pm Nigerian time with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returning as the host. The first pair to enter the house are Chinwe and Zion (Zinwe) and they are in a 5 month relationship. They were followed by the (Radicals) Femi David and Michael.
The third pair to enter the BBNaija house DJ Flo and Rhuthee (Flourish). (Ndi Nne) Chinne and Nne, who came in as an aunty and niece, are the fourth pair to enter the house. The fifth pair are Topher ans Sooj (Aces). The sixth pair are Shaun and Victoria (Shatoria). The seventh pair are Handi and Wanni (WannixHandi).

Each contestant is paired with another housemate, forming a duo that must collaborate and compete together. These pairs will face joint tasks, challenges, and nominations, making their ability to work as a team crucial to their survival in the house.
