Dame Patience Jonathan, the wife of the former president, has committed to backing the efforts of Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, in advancing the country. She urged other women to do the same.
Jonathan made this pledge during a visit to the presidential villa in Abuja on Wednesday to express her solidarity with the first lady. She expressed her gratitude to Mrs. Tinubu for her positive impact on the lives of Nigerian women.
As a former president’s wife, Jonathan emphasized the importance of supporting and encouraging Mrs. Tinubu in her endeavors to move the nation forward.
She praised women’s groups for their support of President Bola Tinubu and his wife and encouraged them to continue their support for the government’s patriotic initiatives.

Jonathan stated, “I hold you in high esteem and believe you can make Nigerian women proud. I am here to provide encouragement and support, as we are one country and must progress together. We have only one country, so we must work together to ensure it moves forward.”

Acknowledging Jonathan’s visit, the first lady expressed her gratitude for the support and guidance she receives. “We are grateful for her solidarity visit, and it gives us an opportunity to discuss how we can collectively advance our nation.
