JUST IN: NECO Releases 2024 SSCE Results, Records 60.55% Pass Rate

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results, with a pass rate of 60.55%.

The results show that 828,284 candidates, representing 60.55%, scored five credits and above, including English and Mathematics.

According to NECO’s Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the number of candidates involved in examination malpractice has decreased by 30.1% compared to last year.

However, 40 schools were found to have been involved in mass cheating, and 21 supervisors were recommended for blacklisting due to various offenses.

Candidates can access their results on NECO’s website using their examination registration number.

Wushishi urged candidates to check their results and warned that sanctions would be applied to schools and supervisors found to have engaged in malpractices.
