Just In: Nigerian Justice Student Son Murdered in Northern Cyprus


The son of  Justice Bello, Ibrahim Khaleel, has been murdered in Northern Cyprus.

The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, revealed this on her official Twitter handle @abikedabiri on Monday.

Khaleel, 25 and a student in Northern Cyprus, according to the chairman of the commission, was one of the many Nigerians killed in the country.    Khaleel was the son of Justice Amina Bello of the Kaduna State High Court.

Dabiri said too many Nigerian students had died mysteriously in Northern Cyprus, a country not recognised by the United Nations but only by Turkey.

According to her, the matter is already with the Interpol, courtesy of the Attorney General of the Federation, promising that Nigeria would not retreat until it gets answers.

She said, “ I received a petition from Justice Bello, whose son Ibrahim Khaleel . a 25 year old student was killed in Northern Cyprus .Too many Nigerian students have died mysteriously in Northern Cyprus,a country not recognized by the UN.Only recognized by Turkey.

“The matter is already with the Interpol , courtesy of the AGF. Several Nig students , and many black students have died mysteriously in Northern Cyprus in the last few years. We will not relent until we get answers .”
