Contrary to report that Murphy Afolabi would be buried in Osogbo today, the actor is set to be buried at his residence in Ikorodu.

In an Instagram post made by his junior colleague, Bimpe Akintunde, the movie star would be buried at his residence in Ikorodu at 12pm.

Bimpe Akintunde urged his colleagues, associates, friends, fans and lovers to pay their last respect to the actor who she described as a legend.

Bimpe Akintunde added that his death is still unbelievable but they can’t question God.

“Thank you all for the condolences messages. This is to invite the General Public, Colleagues, Associates, Friends, Fans and Lovers of Late Murphy Afolabi to Mopelufa Aleke, from Ikorodu garage to Adamo along Ijebu Ode Enter from Aleke Bus Stop then ask of Mopelufa time 12pm where his Remaining body will be laid to Rest today.

“How do I forgive myself” Bimpe Akintunde recounts her last encounter with Murphy Afolabi

Catalogue earlier reported that Bimpe Akintunde, had recounted her last moment with Murphy Afolabi.

The Yoruba movie star, who once worked for Murphy Afolabi, noted how he paved the way for her and supported her despite their sour relationship.

Describing him as her boss, she affirmed that there can never be Wasila Coded without him.

She recounted how she saw him at an event a week before his death and surprisingly greeted him. According to her, she never use to greet the actor and would snub him at events.

But that day she greeted him and he responded to her and never held any grudge against her. She noted how he was so patient with her, and wouldn’t react negatively when she doesn’t greet him or speak to him.

Bimpe Akintunde added that she wouldn’t have forgiven herself if she hadn’t greeted him the last time they met.
