He said the clash led to the death of a suspected land grabber. He said that the land grabbers wrote a petition to the Police Headquarters, Abuja, demanding for justice for their colleague who was allegedly killed by the Soldiers.

He said that the incident caused the land grabbers and the cultists to leave the area for a while, he however, said that they returned to the area.

He said when they came back, the land grabbers petitioned the Police Force for a second time, asking them to investigate the murder of their colleague. According to him, the Force then withdrew a team of mobile Police who were securing the area.

He however, said that the cultists and land grabbers returned again to cause havoc, and during their attempt to cause trouble killed a Police officer, including 3 others more.

He lamented that the community is not safe as people are afraid to go out at night. He appealed to the Lagos State Police Command to come to their aid before the situation gets out of hand.
