The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has extended registration period for private candidates seeking to sit its General Certificate Examination(GCE) in 2020.
The council on its Twitter handle on Friday said candidates have up till November 13 to register for the exam.
It said, “WASSCE for private candidate 2020-second series: further extension of registration period.
“Intending candidates should note that there has been a further extension of the registration period to Friday, November 13, 2020.”
The implication of this is that candidates that did not make their results in the 2020 WASSCE still have the opportunity to sit for GCE this year instead of waiting for another exam year.
