Lionel Messi makes demand from Al-Hilal over potential move

Departing Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi has asked his potential new club Al-Hilal to delay his move until 2024.

The Saudi Pro League had scheduled today, June 6, for the announcement of the Argentine’s arrival.

But the player’s representatives, who met with the Saudi side on Monday, are believed to have made the special request during the meeting, according to Goal.

As a result, the Saudi Pro League giants told Messi that if they make an offer next year, it would differ from the £435m-a-year deal currently on the table.

The 35-year-old’s father and agent, Jorge, met with Barcelona and admitted his son is keen on a return to the club.
