The rerun election in the Delta State House of Assembly, Ethiope-West Constituency, was on Saturday marred by low turnout of voters in the various polling units and wards.

It was gathered that the people of Oghara, Mosogar and Jesse Communities were seen going about their normal businesses in Ethiope-West Local Government Area.

Though security personnel and INEC ad-hoc staff were on ground at the various polling units and wards visited, there was largely voter apathy.

Mrs Ibiama explained that the people who were seen going about their businesses are in the areas where elections did not hold.

She said INEC covered five wards, including Mosogar I&II, Jesse V and Oghara I and II in the ongoing rerun election.
