The photo shows Ronaldo and Messi playing chess on a branded suitcase. It is part of an advertising campaign for the Louis Vuitton brand.
Both superstars are collaborating with Louis Vuitton on a marketing campaign ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Messi and Ronaldo made the post in what appears to be a paid advertisement campaign by the French brand.
Both of their captions read: “Victory is a State of Mind. A long tradition of crafting trunks”.
The duo are known to be fierce rival in the game of football, especially when they were playing in Spain for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
While Ronaldo is having a turbulent period at Manchester United, Messi is plying his trade with PSG.

The photo posted by Ronaldo on his Instagram page has already attracted 20.6 million views within five hours of the post and 296,000 comments.
The photo has also attracted 17.1 million views on Messi’s Instagram page and 219,000 comments.
The two superstars are playing for Portugal and Argentina at the World Cup in Qatar.
