The Nigeria Labour Congress and affiliated unions are getting ready for the protests they announced against the exorbitant cost of living, inflation, insecurity, and suffering in the nation.

At 7:12 a.m., various union workers and other dissatisfied Nigerians were seen heading towards the Labour House. The Department of State Services’ agents are also in attendance.

The NLC and the Trade Union Congress had, on February 8, issued a 14-day nationwide strike notice to the Federal Government over the failure to implement the agreements reached on October 2, following the removal of the fuel subsidy.
