Actress Chioma Ifemeludike has referred to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi‘s supporters, known as the ‘Obidents’ as a zombie kind of followership, accusing them of repeating same mistakes.

She argued the ‘Obidient’ movement was merely a replication of same patterns as well as sentiments that played out before the election of outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari in 2015, stating tribe and “go and verify” syndrome were the only difference this time around.

“All I see here are same patterns and sentiments that played out in 2015 before we elected president Buhari and his clueless team. The only difference this time is tribe and “go and verify” syndrome.

“What then is the beauty of democracy without diversity? Why are we going in a circle and repeating same mistakes all over again? Why can’t we break this old order!? And breakout from this political slavery!

“I support a candidate who has made sacrifices for every tribe and religion, a man who has proven to love Nigeria passionately, a man who built a globally recognized media platform, created a political party, fought himself to be on the round table where crucial issues are addressed.

“A man who put his family aside just to represent the suffering masses of this country. A man who will be the first to speak against injustice in this country, a fighter who will make sure not even one of his soldiers is left behind in the camp of his enemies. A young, vibrant and patriotic citizen.

“Elections are in few days to come, I have done my part, be sure that any decision you make at the ballot, you make for your children and generations to come.
