A driver of an unregistered Honda Accord vehicle has killed one person after ramming into a motorcycle along the Oru-Ijebu Igbo road in the Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The accident, which occurred at about 8 pm on Saturday, left two persons injured and one person dead. The TRACE spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi, stated that the accident was caused by reckless driving by the driver of the Honda Accord car.
According to an eyewitness, the accident was caused due to reckless driving on the part of the Honda Accord driver. Three persons were involved in the accident, with two persons sustaining varying degrees of injuries while one person died.
The injured victims were taken to the Ijebu-Igbo General Hospital, while the remains of the deceased were deposited at the morgue of the same hospital.
