Representatives of the Alumni Association of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Department of Law, on Tuesday evening, in the company of the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alabi, visited the family of the late Omobolanle Raheem to commiserate with them.
Bolanle Raheem, nee Ishola was gruesomely killed by ASP Drambi Vandi, an officer attached to Ajiwe Police Station in the Ajah area of Lagos on Sunday in the presence of her husband, and other family members while on their way to buy pizza.
The police had flagged down the car and shot her in the chest before her husband, who was driving at the time could find a place to park.
The Public Relations Officer of the OOU law graduates Alumni Association, Barrister Bello Kazeem consoled the family, praying that God would give them the fortitude to bear the loss. He also assured the family that the association would ensure that the errant policeman receive the appropriate punishment for his action.   Barrister Kazeem was accompanied on the visit by another alumni member of the 2010 set, the late Omobola’s set.
Kazeem explained that “Bola graduated from the Law Faculty of OOU, Ago Iwoye in 2010. She was into litigation until recently she delved into real estate.
“She was calm and well-behaved. She was the chief executive officer of Croston homes,” he said. [sic]
