Former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole has challenged Governor Godwin Obaseki over the denial of access to public school premises for All Progressives Congress (APC) campaigns.
Oshiomhole expressed frustration over the issue, stating that many of the schools were constructed during his tenure as governor. He criticized Obaseki, reminding him that his position is temporary and that APC will hold campaigns in state facilities.
Oshiomhole dared Obaseki to come to the place, saying, “We will deny Obaseki the use of federal roads if he deprives us of using government schools again. Next time he stops us, we will enter and use the facilities.” He also noted that the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, would engage in a debate with the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo, in the Esan dialect.
