“Children can engage in co-curricular activities which can act as reinforcement to learning. Learning is not considered experiential if it is only embedded in curricular work and activities. Furthermore, the extra-curricular activities also help to complement learning and accelerate development in the children/students. I will encourage children to switch to learning life lessons that promote handwork, relational skills and critical thinking.

“I believe there will be an increase in appreciation of vocational studies post COVID-19. Rigorous learning is not what I would say is the challenge. He stressed that extra-curricular activities were important in developing children’s talents and practical skills.
